Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited pan-India sports drama Peddi is gearing up for its grand worldwide release on April 30th, and the momentum around the film has climbed even higher thanks to a special visitor on set, Indian cricketer Tilak Varma who’s part of T20 World Cup winning team.
Still riding the high of India’s global triumph, Tilak Varma dropped by the Peddi shooting location, turning an otherwise intense filming day into a celebratory moment for the entire team. The young cricket star was welcomed with warmth as he toured the sets and witnessed some of the film’s high-voltage sports portions being shot.
Tilak Varma was deeply impressed not just by the action but also by the emotional weight packed into the sequences. His reaction reportedly reinforced the team’s confidence that Peddi is on track to deliver a sports narrative rooted in authenticity, grit, and strong human drama.
Meanwhile, Peddi itself is racing through its final schedule and post-production. Adding to the excitement, musical promotions are also climbing. The two songs- Chikiri Chikiri, and Rai Rai Raa Raa, composed by AR Rahman, received exceptional response.
The film brings together a strong cast with Janhvi Kapoor playing the leading lady. She is joined by senior actor Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani, all playing important parts in the story.
On the technical side, the movie is backed by some of the best in the industry. R Rathnavelu handles the camera work, Navin Nooli takes charge of editing, and Avinash Kolla designs the film’s massive and detailed sets. Their combined effort is helping Peddi shape up into a visually rich entertainer.
With promotions speeding up and the second song set to release tomorrow, the film is entering its final and most thrilling phase. Excitement is high as fans look forward to seeing Ram Charan in a completely new avatar, making Peddi one of the most awaited mass films of the year.
