‘Raakaasa’ Announces ₹100 Flat Ticket Offer Across Single Screens in AP & Telangana, Turning Its Successful Run into a Wider Celebration

Following a steadily strengthening theatrical run, Rākāsā is expanding its audience reach with a flat ticket pricing initiative of ₹100 across all single screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, effective from 10 April.

The move comes at a point where the film has established consistent traction at the box office. Beyond the numbers, the film’s momentum has been driven by clear audience behaviour patterns, with family audiences emerging as the primary force behind its theatrical growth.

Positioned as a light-hearted, accessible entertainer, Rākāsā has found strong resonance among viewers seeking a relaxed, collective viewing experience. Across centres, families are not only turning up in large numbers but also contributing to repeat footfalls, reinforcing the film’s stability beyond its opening phase. This cross-generational appeal-where children engage with its imaginative elements and adults connect with its humour-has played a crucial role in sustaining occupancy.

Key performances have further strengthened the film’s reception. The Sangeeth–Getup Srinu track has consistently delivered high-response moments across theatres, while Vennela Kishore’s performance has been widely noted for its timing and impact, enhancing the film’s overall entertainment quotient.

The ₹100 pricing strategy is designed to further accelerate this trajectory by lowering the entry barrier for theatrical viewing. In the current exhibition landscape, where pricing sensitivity directly impacts turnout – particularly in single-screen ecosystems – this initiative is expected to drive incremental footfalls and encourage repeat viewing.

Backed by Niharika Konidela and Umesh Kumar Bansal under Pink Elephant Pictures in association with Z Studios, and directed by Manasa Sharma, Rākāsā benefits from a clear creative vision centred on entertainment and inclusivity. Led by Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika, alongside a strong supporting cast, the film delivers a cohesive theatrical experience that connects with a wide audience base.
