Some media outlets recently reported that director and Producer Venu Udugula was also involved in the case registered against singer Mangli in an alleged financial fraud incident. Responding to these false reports, Venu Udugula issued a clarification, firmly stating that he has no connection whatsoever with the case. He released an official press note addressing the issue.
Responding to the controversy, Venu Udugula said, “I was deeply distressed to see certain media organizations linking my name to the case involving singer Mangli. Since both Mangli and lawyer Subba Rao are known to me, I only suggested that the issue be resolved amicably and that justice be ensured for the victims. That is the extent of my involvement in this matter. My name has not been mentioned as an accused anywhere in the FIR related to this case. Advocate Subba Rao also clearly stated to the media today that I have no connection with this case. The Panjagutta police have also confirmed that I am not related to this matter. I request media friends to understand that such reports can affect a person’s reputation, dignity, and family. The love and support you have shown me all these years have given me great strength, and I hope you will continue to extend the same support.”
