The much-awaited ‘Yamakinkarudu’, touted as a pioneering experiment in Telugu cinema, has successfully completed its censor formalities and is gearing up for a grand release on September 18. Produced, directed, and headlined by Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana, the film has been awarded a U/A certificate by the Censor Board. The film carries the unique distinction of being promoted as the first Telugu film made using AI technology. Popular actor Suman plays a key role in the movie. Featuring a novel storyline and the innovative use of AI technology, Yamakinkarudu has reportedly impressed the Censor Board members, who appreciated the film’s concept, technical execution, and unique narrative approach, according to the team.
Speaking on the occasion, producer – director-actor Thummalapalli Ramasatyanarayana said, “We believe Yamakinkarudu will stand out as a new experiment in Telugu cinema. We made this film with the vision of bringing a full-fledged Telugu movie created using AI technology to audiences. We are extremely happy that the Censor Board has awarded the film a U/A certificate and appreciated our efforts. Their response has given our entire team even more confidence and enthusiasm.” He further added, “The film will have a grand release on September 18 across a large number of theatres and simultaneously on major OTT platforms including Aha, ZEE5, ETV Win, Amazon, SonyLIV, and others. We are confident that audiences will experience something completely new and different.”
