Produced by Bunny Vas under the banners of Sukumar Writings and Bunny Vas Works, “Idupu Kayitham” stars Priyadarshi in the lead role. Actress Nagadurga, who has earned recognition through Telangana folk songs, is playing the female lead. Young filmmaker Vamsi Reddy Dondapati is directing the film, which is set against a Telangana family backdrop and promises to be an entertaining drama.
The first single Srilatha from Idupu Kayitham is out now, and it’s a refreshing romantic melody that instantly strikes a chord. With its Telangana-rooted vibe, catchy tune, and effortless chemistry between Priyadarshi and Naga Durga, the song brings back the charm of memorable Telugu love tracks that linger long after the first listen. The picturesque visuals of Hyderabad Secretariat and Tank Bund make the lyrical video even more special.
Composer Suresh Bobbili adds a unique touch by appearing in the lyrical video while creating the song on location, while the adorable little girls’ dance sequences enhance its visual appeal. Alaraju’s playful Telangana-flavoured lyrics, combined with soulful vocals by Shankar Babu, Mohana Bhogaraju, Seelam Punnamma, and Bollepogula Subhadra, make Srilatha a warm, relatable love melody. Priyadarshi and Naga Durga’s natural chemistry and graceful dance moves are the song’s biggest highlights, making it an instant connect for couples and lovers.
“Idupu Kayitham” is currently progressing with its regular shooting. The makers are planning a grand theatrical release in the first week of December.
