“Kantara Chapter 1” is the prequel to the blockbuster film “Kantara,” which was written and directed by Rishab Shetty. On the occasion of Varalakshmi Vratham, Rukmini Vasanth’s first look as Kanakaavathi was released. With cinematography by Arvind S. Kashyap, music by B. Ajaneesh Lokanath, and world-class production values from Hombale Films’ Vijay Kiragandur, the film is expected to be a visual spectacle.
“Kantara Chapter 1” is scheduled to be released worldwide on October 2, 2025, in Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, and English.
