Hero Nara Rohit’s milestone 20th film is ‘Sundarakanda’. It is being directed by debutant Venkatesh Nimmalapudi and produced by Santhosh Chinnapolli, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankali under the Sandeep Picture Palace (SPP) banner. Vruthi Vaghani and Sri Devi Vijaykumar are the heroines. In a press conference ahead of the film’s release tomorrow, Nara Rohit shared details about the movie.
* “I was actually supposed to make my comeback with ‘Sundarakanda’. We started the script work for this film back in 2022. I was nervous when director Venkatesh told me the idea. But he came prepared with about 30 scenes, and I really liked them. That’s how we started the project. The audience will have a smile on their face throughout the film.”
* “Director Venkatesh has been traveling with me for five years now. We discussed this film a lot, and all those discussions helped us immensely. This story is very new for this generation. I really enjoyed playing this character. ‘Sundarakanda’ is a very clean film with a very fresh treatment of scenes. It’s a film that everyone will connect with.”
* “My character in this film has some limitations. It’s very interesting to see him searching for a girl with the qualities he desires, even after turning 30. It’s a complicated character, and the fun is created from that very complication.”
