Directed by Mullapudi Vara, “Golla Ramavva”—a powerful cinematic adaptation of the Telangana Armed Struggle written by former Indian Prime Minister Late P. V. Narasimha Rao—is receiving overwhelming appreciation from audiences. Streaming on ETV Win since January 25, the film has been garnering an extraordinary response from viewers.
Produced jointly by Ram Vishwas Hanurkar and Raghavendra Varma (Bujji) under the banners of Sucheta Dream Works Production and Varma Dream Creations, the film stands out for its gripping narrative and emotional depth. Azhar Shaikh played a crucial role as the Executive Producer and also contributed to the film’s lyrics.
Notably, this is the same team that earlier delivered “Mouname Nee Bhasha” for ETV Win, which received wide acclaim. However, “Golla Ramavva” has surpassed expectations with a response that is almost double, making it a remarkable achievement. Starring Talluri Rameshwari, fondly known as the “Telugu Sita Malakshmi,” in the title role, the film has been showered with praise from all quarters.
Expressing his happiness over the film’s success, director Mullapudi Vara extended heartfelt gratitude to the producers and to everyone who supported the film’s journey. He also conveyed special thanks to P. V. Prabhakar Rao and Surabhi Vanidevi, son and daughter of Late P. V. Narasimha Rao.
The film also features Allu Geetha, Anvith, and Mani Manthena in key roles.
