* I really liked the story of ‘Shashipoorthi’. Such stories are rarely seen nowadays; films filled with violence are more common. I was very happy when a script with such values came to me. It has all kinds of elements. While I enjoyed producing this film, I enjoyed acting in it even more.
* ‘Shashipoorthi’ is a completely fictional film. However, audiences will connect with the characters as if they are seeing themselves. Nowadays, even pure love isn’t shown. In this film, we’ve depicted all kinds of emotions, including family elements.
* Pavan Prabha wrote the story of ‘Shashipoorthi’ specifically for Rajendra Prasad Garu. The idea was that if a new face played his son, audiences would watch the film without any preconceptions. That’s why the director looked for a new face, and ultimately, I joined the project.
* The film’s standard was elevated by Ilaiyaraaja Garu’s music. He cooperated with us immensely, giving us many options for every song. Nothing happened there as rumored outside. Keeravani Garu immediately wrote the song when asked.
