Dalit Icon –  Padma Shri Manda Krishna Madiga

The film “Ambedkar in Agraharam” is inspired by the ideologies of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Dalit icon and Padma Shri awardee Manda Krishna Madiga released the title song of the film. He expressed his hope that the film, which has been made with great struggle by Krishna Chaitanya, will achieve remarkable success. He also appealed to every admirer of Ambedkar to watch the film without fail.

This film has already won awards at several prestigious international film festivals. It is produced under the banner Ramji – Lakshmoji Films and its directed by Mantha Krishna Chaitanya, who is also playing the lead role—an interesting aspect in itself.

Speaking on the occasion, he said:
“The film was created with the aim of spreading Ambedkar’s ideology across the world. I am extremely thankful to Manda Krishna garu for launching the title song. We are preparing to release this film globally through Cinetaria Media Works. This project, made with immense effort and investment, is a tribute to Ambedkar, who worked for an equal society beyond caste, religion, region, and community. I hope everyone will support and embrace the film.”

Veteran actor and Padma Shri awardee Kota Srinivasa Rao passed away in Hyderabad on Sunday early hours at the age of 83 after a prolonged illness.

Coming from theatre started his film career as comedian and later became popular with powerful villain roles and dominated telugu film industry for few decades.

Kalyan, Raj Kandukuri, Director Samudra, Producers Council President Damodara Prasad and Prasanna Kumar were the chief guests. The film will hit the screens towards the end of August.
