K-pop superstars BTS announce end of hiatus with a new album and world tour in 2026

The K-pop septet BTS will return in spring 2026 with a new album and world tour.

Members Jin, RM, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Jung Kook and Suga made the announcement Tuesday during a livestream on Weverse, an online fan platform owned by BTS management company Hybe. It was the first time all seven members have broadcast live together since September 2022.

They will be releasing a new BTS album in the spring of next year. Starting in July, all seven of us will begin working closely together on new music,” the band said in a statement. “Since it will be a group album, it will reflect each member’s thoughts and ideas. We’re approaching the album with the same mindset we had when we first started.”

According to a press release, the band will be in the United States this month to begin working on new music.

They also announced a world tour, their first in nearly four years. The news arrives a few weeks after BTS superstars RM, V, Jimin and Jung Kook were discharged from South Korea’s military after fulfilling their mandatory service.

The ‘Coolie’ tussle is over
‘Tug of War-2’ continues

Nagarjuna, who played a key role in the film “Kubera,” also played an important role in “Coolie.” Asian Films, which produced “Kubera,” has acquired the Telugu version rights for the film “Coolie.”

NTR has had an association with Sithara Entertainments since “Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava.” The same company distributed the film “Devara.”

Furthermore, they are preparing to produce another film in the NTR-Trivikram combination. Not only that, this company is also making moves to acquire the Telugu rights for “War-2,” in which NTR stars as one of the two heroes.

An interesting discussion has begun in Tollywood: Is Sithara Vamshi (from Sithara Entertainments) competing for “War-2” at NTR’s suggestion, similar to how Asian Films eagerly acquired “Coolie” because Nagarjuna, who acted in it, stated that the film turned out very well?.

Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s “War-2,” and Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna’s “Coolie” are both scheduled to release on August 14th.

Injuries to Prabhas During “Fauji” Shooting?

It’s being reported that Rebel Star Prabhas fractured his leg during the shooting of the film “Fauji,” directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Despite the severity of the fracture being somewhat high, information suggests that Prabhas is continuing with the shoot.

This film, being made under the direction of Hanu Raghavapudi after “Sita Ramam,” features Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Emraan Hashmi in key roles. Immanvi is being introduced as the heroine in this movie, which has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.

“Papa” stands tall in its third week, holding ground against biggies like “Kubera” and “Kannappa”

Proudly joining the list of this year’s Dubbing Blockbusters, Papa has recreated the same magic in Telugu that it delivered in Tamil. Producer Neeraja Kota expressed her happiness over the film securing a place among the most successful dubbed films released so far this year. She added that it is purely the love from audiences across all sections that helped Papa withstand the box-office wave created by Kubera and Kannappa, and continue to create buzz in theatres across both Telugu states even in its third week.

Papa was released in Telugu on June 13 under the JK Entertainments banner, with dubbing efforts led by Neeraja herself. The film stars Kavin and Aparna Das as the lead pair, with veteran actors Bhagyaraj and VTV Ganesh playing key roles. Directed by Ganesh K. Babu, Papa became a box-office hit in Tamil with record-breaking collections.

The music by Jen Martin, cinematography by Elil Arasu, and the lyrics penned by Ravivarma in simple, relatable language have all added to the film’s charm. Neeraja highlighted that extra care was taken to ensure Papa feels more like a remake than a typical dubbed film. She credited director Ganesh Babu’s storytelling as a key factor behind the film’s success, along with the captivating chemistry and intense conflict between Kavin and Aparna Das.

Neeraja concluded by saying that the success of Papa has boosted her confidence, and she is now planning a straight Telugu film, with official details to be announced soon.
