Renowned film and TV actor Allam Gopal Rao passed away this morning at 8 AM at his residence due to illness. He was 75 years old and is survived by his wife Vimala and two sons, Anil and Sunil. His elder son, Anil, acts in both TV serials and films.

Gopal Rao’s final rites will be held this evening at 4 PM at Mahaprasthanam. Several film personalities visited his remains and paid their respects. The Film Nagar Cultural Centre (FNCC) Management Committee also expressed its deepest condolences to Gopal Rao’s family members.

Film workers staged a protest in front of the Telugu Film Chamber on Saturday, demanding immediate action against those involved in alleged irregularities at Chitrapuri.

Their key demands include:
* Immediate dissolution of the current Chitrapuri committee, which they accuse of being responsible for a ₹300 crore scam.
* Suspension and criminal charges against Principal Secretary Raghanandan Rao, alleging he supports corrupt individuals in Chitrapuri.
* Dismissal of Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao from the cabinet, accusing him of deceiving them after promising justice.
* Taking into custody Vallabhaneni Anil Kumar, who is allegedly building a 45-story house spanning 4,400 square feet and attempting to sell it on the black market.
* Suspension of the Cooperative Commissioner and Ranga Reddy District DCO Sudhakar for failing to implement the orders of the Honorable Telangana High Court.

Leaders who participated and addressed the protest included CITU leaders Eshwar, Sankuri Ravinder, Raju, Lalitha, Aam Aadmi Party leader Hema, Navodayam Party President Shankar Patel, Telangana Film Chamber President Prathani Ramakrishna Goud, Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber President Mohan Goud, Chitrapuri Sadhana Samithi leader Kasturi Srinivas, and Telangana Intellectuals leader Bhadra.

These days, it’s become a trend to release posters boasting “millions of views” just minutes after a teaser or trailer is launched. But what many don’t know is that most of these views are paid – purchased at a fixed rate per thousand. Veteran producer Dil Raju has now openly declared that these views offer no real value and that his production house will no longer be part of such practices.

He criticized the ongoing competition where filmmakers race to claim record-breaking views for their teasers, trailers, or songs. According to him, these are not organic views, and don’t help the film in any real way. Speaking not just as a top producer, but also as the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, Dil Raju’s strong statement has made headlines.

Let’s hope this marks the end of the unhealthy obsession with fake view counts in Tollywood. Especially for small-budget films, producers must realize that spending lakhs for “prestige” views is pointless. If even big stars’ views aren’t always genuine, why spend a fortune on artificial numbers and then spend more promoting them?

It’s time for the industry to wake up and focus on real engagement and authentic promotion.

It’s being reported that Devasena, who previously starred alongside Venkatesh in the films “Nagavalli” and “Chintakayala Ravi,” might pair with him for a third time.

Anushka’s name has come up as the main heroine in Venkatesh’s first film under Trivikram’s direction. The super hit re-release of “Khaleja,” in which Sweety (Anushka) starred opposite Mahesh under Trivikram’s direction, is said to be a key reason for this combination.

“Gedela Raju” is a film starring music director, actor, and singer Raghu Kunche in the titular role, set in Kakinada Taluka.

The film’s team is presenting an interesting concept: “If you see, there’s only one truth… if you don’t, there are a hundred doubts.” The first look of the film was released on Friday, coinciding with Raghu’s birthday.

The second schedule of Mega157 has commenced in the beautiful hill station of Mussoorie. This 10-day schedule will feature Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara, VTV Ganesh, and other principal cast members.

The film crew will be shooting some key and entertaining scenes. This marks Nayanthara’s third film with Chiru after “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” and “Godfather.” Presented by Smt. Post-Production Underway
for the Trilingual Film “DUDE”

Multitalented Tej takes on both acting and direction duties for the trilingual film DUDE, being made in Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. Set against the backdrop of football and driven by powerful emotions, this film is a tribute to the late Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, a passionate football enthusiast.

With 80 percent shooting completed, the film is currently in post-production, and the teaser is to be released soon!

Speaking about the film, actor-director Tej shared:

“As both actor and director, I’m extremely happy with how ‘DUDE’ is turning out. Even watching the rushes is exciting! I can’t wait to watch it with audiences in theatres. Veteran actor Rangayana Raghu plays a football coach in the film, which is being planned for this year release across all three languages simultaneously.

Interestingly, Raghavendra Rajkumar, who plays a key role in the film, is also contributing as a script consultant. The film features a strong female cast including Shanya Kaveramma, Megha, Mohith, Dhriti, Anarghya, Dipali Pandey, Siri, Evangeline, Sonu Teerth Goud, Yashaswini, Mercy, and Monish, portraying fierce football-loving women. Supporting roles are played by Sundar Raja, Sparsha Rekha, and Vijay Chendoor.
