It’s a rural/village back drop film with main plot around hero Narne Nitin addiction to cigarette smoking since birth to gain consciousness and as adult as stress reliever blended with family values and sentiment.

Naresh’s only son is Nitin and Heroine Sampada is Rao Ramesh’s daughter, they are family friends and their love blossoms since childhood. Rao Ramesh and Naresh are politically active and both eye MPTC post from the same party.

Rest of the story how the hero’s de-addiction to the cigarette smoking challenge comes in between to win his love and MPTC post for both the aspirants.

The narration is blended with sentiments and family values, hero side kicks and their antics, Subha lekha Sudhakar as cunning MLA playing games with Naresh and Rao Ramesh to nominate his candidate for MPTC post.

Nellore Sudharshan, Racha Ravi as the hero side kicks stand out with their performances.

The Kannada controversy, unfortunately, couldn’t significantly help “Thug Life,” despite generating millions of rupees in free publicity.

This film, which brought together the Kamal Haasan – Mani Ratnam combination after 38 years since “Nayakan,” failed to achieve even minimal openings in our Telugu states. With “negative word-of-mouth,” collections further declined even by the matinee shows.

Analysts are expressing disappointment, stating that Mani Ratnam, who had made a comeback with the “Ponniyan Selvan” films, has once again severely disappointed with “Thug Life.” It is regrettable that even in Tamil, the film is not collecting as expected.

Senior actor, producer, and politician Murali Mohan inaugurated the Exotic Fruit, Vegetable, and Grocery Store at Alkapuri Township in Manikonda. NN Kishore, Archana Reddy, and Vinod Kumar are the Managing Directors behind the launch of the store. Trisha character is more of a vamp character with a complicated love relationship with Kamal and Simbhu.Lost and found brother sister drama of Simbu and Aishwarya elevates the drama in later part of the story.

Its a typical mani Ratnam gangster film for supremacy with complicated drama and relationships, if you are fan of action and gangster films you can watch it.
