Celebrating the success, the director of the film, Venky Atluri interacted with press and here are the excerpts.

Venky Atluri talking to press stated that his previous films did receive at least one to two percent of negative feedback but Lucky Baskhar did not receive even one negative review. He expressed happiness for receiving positive word of mouth from audiences even from Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. He stated that he saw the movie in Cochin and after some tense moments, when people started enjoying the film, he felt really happy and breathed a sigh of relief.

On Dulquer Salmaan’s performance

Venky Atluri stated that Dulquer is the first hero to immediately accept the movie upon first narration. He stated that DQ started discussing about dates, sets and production after the first half narration. He also stated that on the sets, Dulquer is a great motivator and he found it inspiring to work even better every day.

On the famous Dialogues

Venky revealed that he did not plan the dialogues that went popular. He revealed that several lines like “Oka Roju naa jeevitham lo naaku nacchinattu jargaledu( One day in my life did not go as I planned, should I go into depression for that)” has been written on sets as a filler in the scene. Such a line going popular as made him happy and thrilled him to bits. He also revealed that he is a 90’s kid and hence, he knew the value of getting some thing that we wish for after negotiating with parents for hours and days together. So, he wrote scenes keeping those experiences in mind. He also observed that the today’s generation is not going through such negotiations as they’re getting everything they ever wished for by hook or crook, immediately.

On Production Values and producer’s belief

Producer Naga Vamsi challenged that if anyone would find a mistake, then he would give them a special party. Talking about such belief on the film, Venky Atluri stated that the producer has been supportive from the word go. He stated that while he wanted to make a film in limited budget in live locations, Vamsi pushed him to go for a bigger sets and huge production values. He revealed that the sets and recreation of Bombay cost them multiple folds more than they anticipated but producer never asked him to stop or plan again. Rather it is producer who pushed him to go even big.

On double the work and casting veteran actors

Venky Atluri stated that he had to shoot twice a scene as it plays from different perspectives as per the narrator’s revelation at that moment. He stated that due to that the work has doubled and hence, they went 20 days over planned time in shooting. Later, he revealed about his choices to cast Sarvadaman D. Banerjee, Sai Kumar, Tinnu Anand kind of actors in prominent roles, as he wanted a recall value in important scenes. He praised kid actor Rithvik for his performance and discipline. Further, he also praised editor Navin Nooli for his editing skills.

On his next projects

Venky Atluri revealed that he did not lock anything but he will work with Sithara Entertainments again.

The Movie “KA” Will Leave a Lasting Impression on Audiences – Heroines Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram

0

Young and talented hero Kiran Abbavaram stars in the highly anticipated period thriller “KA.” With Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram portraying the lead heroines, the film is produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments, known for its high production values. Directed by the duo Sujeeth and Sandeep, “KA” features an action thriller story set against a village backdrop. The film is set for a grand theatrical release in Telugu on Diwali, October 31. Additionally, “KA” will be released in Malayalam by hero Dulquer Salmaan under his production house, Wayfarer Films. In a recent interview, heroines Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram shared insights about the film and their experiences.

Nayan Sarika Speaking:

– While I was filming “AAY,” my photos circulated among filmmakers in the industry, which led to my opportunity for “KA.” At that time, I was in Andhra Pradesh shooting for “AAY.” Director Sandeep called to discuss the movie, and after coming to Hyderabad, I completed a look test. Following that, I was cast as Satyabhama in “KA.”

– In “Gam Gam Ganesha,” I will present a modern look, while in “AAY,” I will appear more traditional. My character in “AAY,” Pallavi, is very bubbly, and I aimed to portray something different. Satya hama is a traditional character, and when I heard the story of “KA,” the climax stayed with me. I believe the audience will feel the same once they see it in theaters.

– I am thrilled to work with Kiran Abbavaram. He is deeply invested in this project, valuing feedback from everyone involved. The action sequences are risky, but he performed them himself without relying on a stunt double. Kiran strives for authenticity in his actions, and his dedication to the film is truly admirable.

– “KA” features two heroines, but it’s essential for the hero to be prominently showcased. The story has many twists and turns, and I want to avoid revealing too much to preserve the surprises for the audience. Although I have fewer scenes with Tanvi, we became good friends quickly, and the entire team collaborated like a family. The title is closely connected to the hero’s character, Vasudev.

– My portrayal of Satyabhama draws inspiration from Savitri’s look, which is why the hero mentions that I resemble Savitri. Like her, I can deliver an emotional scene without glycerin, and her legacy inspires me greatly. The directors, Sandeep and Sujeeth, shared this vision for the character, ensuring the dialogue about my resemblance to Savitri is relevant and impactful.

– Our film has a universal theme, which is why Kiran aims for a pan-Indian release. The story is relatable to everyone, featuring elements that transcend cultural boundaries. We aspire to offer the audience a fresh cinematic experience. By the end of the film, viewers will realize that they too can embody the film’s messages. Such themes are rarely seen in our industry, and our entire team is confident in its success. We are currently in discussions for some exciting future projects, with details to be revealed soon.

Heroine Tanvi Ram Says

– I acted in the Telugu film “Ante Sundaraniki,” starring Nani in the lead role, where I played an important character. Before choosing a project, I always consider how significant my role is to the story; I don’t want to be just another heroine. In “KA,” I portray the character of Radha. Director Sandeep initially narrated the story to me over the phone and offered to share the complete script, including my character’s details. This showed me just how crucial Radha’s role is, and I immediately agreed to join the project.

– Radha is a school teacher. While Abhinaya, Vasudev, and Satyabhama appear in one time frame, my character is set in a different period. The connection between my character and theirs will be evident on screen, even though I won’t have scenes with Satyabhama. After the film’s release, I’ll be able to discuss it in more detail, but I want to keep the thrill under wraps for now.

– When I arrived in Hyderabad for the film, Kiran was heading to another location. Knowing I was coming, he reached out to me. Kiran has immense respect for his co-artists, and his dedication to this project has been remarkable. He took care of everything and supported us throughout the shoot, fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the team.

– Every character in this film holds significance, and a town called Krishnagiri plays a key role as well. Each character has their own twists and turns, and the climax is extraordinary. The iconic scenes tie all our characters to the story. The essence of the film is encapsulated in its title, reflecting the many emotions portrayed by our characters.

– The film’s budget exceeded expectations, but our producer provided unwavering support, ensuring we could create a high-quality movie.

– My portrayal of Radha involved a lot of night shoots, which was challenging for me since I usually sleep early. Staying awake for those late hours proved difficult, but it also brought moments of fun and laughter. Radha has some emotional scenes that require me to cry, and filming those long sequences from different angles meant I had to repeat the same emotions multiple times. This experience affected me personally, differing from my real-life character. However, as an actress, I recognize that this is part of my profession.

– Since the release of the movie trailer, the response has been very positive. All my friends and family are eagerly awaiting the film. There’s potential for a sequel, but we’ll discuss that later. Currently, I’m working on several projects in Tamil and Malayalam, and I hope to receive good offers in Telugu following this release.
