Coolie movie review
Rajinikanth as Deva
Nagarjuna Akkineni as Simon
Soubin Shahir as Dayal
Shruti Haasan as Preethi
Upendra as Kaleesha
Sathyaraj as Rajasekar
Pooja Hegde in a special appearance in the song “Monica”
Aamir Khan in a special appearance as Dahaa
Produced by : Sun pictures
Director: Lokesh Kanagaraj
It’s a vintage Rajnikant film, Rajinikanth in the lead role, investigating the death of his Coolie friend and encountering a crime syndicate.
Soubin Shahir police informer turned crime syndicate leader for personal gains stood out with his performance.
Nagarjuna as Antagonist who heads smuggling syndicate performed well.
Every 20 minutes dishom dishom action scenes and kasak scenes go overboard, with less entertainment and longer duration makes the film boring after a certain point.
The length of the film is a big nuisance with many mindless sub plots.
Shruti Haasan’s role is okay, the film may appeal to Rajni fans with his swag, action all over, he is projected as Coolie saviour generation after generation.
Rating: 2.5/5
War 2 Hindi movie review
- Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir “Kaboo” Dhaliwal.
- N.T. Rama Rao Jr. as Major Vikram “Raghu” Chelapathi.
- Kiara Advani as Wing Commander Kavya Luthra.
- Ashutosh Rana as Colonel Sunil Luthra.
- Anil Kapoor as Vikrant Kaul, Chief of RAW.
- Varun Badola as Defence Minister Vilasrao Sarang.
- K.C. Shankar as Gautam Gulati, Kali Head (India).
Producer: Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj films
Director: Ayan Mukerji
War 2 is a slick spy action film, a franchise film from Yash Raj films.
Coming to the story Hrithik Roshan working for RAW is on a mission to save India from global Kali.
Jr NTR another RAW agent works on the same mission with his own agenda.
The rest of the story runs on predictable lines how with the rest of the RAW gang Anil Kapoor, Kiara Advani works with Hrithik to protect the country and de-stabilize global power syndicate Kali.
Most of the film is shot in Europe with heavy action episodes.
It’s a typical spy franchise film from Yash Raj films.

Tarak getting snubbed?
A close examination of some special reports emerging consecutively from both Bollywood and Tollywood raises suspicions that there might be a conspiracy to prevent NTR from rising further.
Notably, the film Coolie which is being hyped despite having a weak story and narrative compared to War-2 is being promoted heavily, while War-2 is being declared a disaster.
This situation raises several questions. Although the Hindi version of War-2 released on the 14th, earned 28 crore on the first day and then 40 crore on the second day—an increase of 42 to 45 percent—there have been harsh criticisms and negative remarks from certain sections of the media there, who are highlighting Coolie instead.
The scenario is quite similar here as well. That said, War-2 is certainly not a perfect film, but compared to Coolie it is far superior. Why this is happening remains a big question for now.

The City of Pearls Becomes the City of Potholes: A Critical Look at Hyderabad’s Rainy Season Woes
Every year, as the monsoon clouds gather over Hyderabad, a predictable transformation begins. The “City of Pearls,” a metropolis known for its technological prowess, historical grandeur, and rapid development, starts to unravel, revealing its most persistent flaw: its road infrastructure.
What was once a bustling network of highways and flyovers quickly becomes a treacherous labyrinth of potholes, turning daily commutes into a harrowing ordeal and exposing a systemic failure in urban planning and maintenance.
The problem isn’t new. For years, residents have grown accustomed to the annual cycle of road construction in the dry months, followed by their rapid deterioration with the first heavy downpour.
While authorities often blame the intense rainfall for the damage, the deeper issue lies in the quality of materials and the speed of execution.
Many roads are laid with substandard materials and poor drainage systems, making them highly susceptible to water damage. The relentless pounding of rain, combined with heavy vehicular traffic, acts as a catalyst, eroding the asphalt and creating craters that are not only a nuisance but a serious safety hazard.
The consequences are far-reaching. The city’s daily life is thrown into disarray. Commuters face severe traffic jams, leading to lost time and increased fuel consumption.
The constant swerving to avoid potholes takes a heavy toll on vehicles, leading to costly repairs for citizens. More importantly, these treacherous road conditions pose a significant threat to public safety.
Accidents, particularly for two-wheeler riders, spike during the rainy season, with countless injuries and even fatalities attributed to skidding on waterlogged roads or hitting hidden potholes.
While temporary patchwork solutions are often initiated after public outcry, they are, by their very nature, fleeting.
These repairs rarely last, and the cycle of destruction and shoddy reconstruction repeats itself year after year. The lack of accountability for the quality of work is a major concern.
There is a pressing need for a long-term, sustainable strategy that includes the use of durable, water-resistant road materials, the construction of effective drainage systems, and a transparent monitoring mechanism to ensure contractors are held to high standards.
Hyderabad’s moniker as the “City of Pearls” is a source of immense pride, but the annual transformation into the “City of Potholes” is a stark reminder of the city’s infrastructural vulnerabilities. The time has come for a fundamental shift in approach—one that prioritizes permanent solutions over temporary fixes and ensures that the city’s roads can withstand the test of the seasons. Only then can Hyderabad truly shine, rain or no rain.
