Kingston a film produced and starring GV Prakash Kumar, is releasing this Friday in Telugu and Tamil languages. It is produced under Parallel Universe Pictures and Zee Studios, with Divya Bharathi as the female lead. Divya Bharathi interacted with the media on the occasion of the film’s release this Friday.
“Bachelor” was a big hit. We didn’t expect it to be released in Telugu. Compared to that film, “Kingston” is a very different movie. It’s India’s first sea adventure thriller. I’m happy to have acted in “Kingston,” which is GV Prakash Kumar’s first film as a producer.
Usually, heroines rarely get the opportunity to do action scenes. I don’t know if I’ll get another challenging project like this. I’ve already seen the movie. I’m excited for the audience to see it.
In “Kingston,” I play the role of a village girl. Fishing is the livelihood of the people in that village. Why did they stop going fishing in the sea? What is their curse? What did the hero and heroines do for them? You have to watch the movie to find out. “GOAT,” where I paired with Sudigali Sudheer in Telugu, is also ready for release!”
