Speculation are doing the rounds about Prabhas Raja Saab being postponed again but the makers are firmly denying it.
While producer TG Vishwa Prasad has publicly blamed the delay on major VFX problems, not Prabhas’ schedule, the film is still confirmed for a January 9, 2026 release.
According to Vishwa Prasad, the original VFX supervisor allegedly delayed work for months, demanding payment while contributing almost nothing, even threatening to quit when challenged. To resolve this, the team reportedly created an in-house VFX division to pick up the work.
Filming delayed earlier is said to have wrapped by the end of October 2025, allowing post-production work to be continued on schedule.
Despite the controversy, the producers remain confident of delivering a glittering, VFX-rich horror comedy just in time for Sankranti.
