The cult rural blockbuster “Raju Weds Rambai” has continued its successful journey by winning four major awards at the Gaddar Awards. The film, which received tremendous appreciation from audiences during its theatrical run and later on OTT, has now been recognized with prestigious honors. It won awards for Best Film, Best Director, Best Singer, and Special Jury Award.
Director Sailu Kompati won the Best Director award, while Anurag Kulkarni received the Best Singer award. Actor Chaitanya Jonnalagadda will be honored with the Special Jury Award for his performance in the film.
“Raju Weds Rambai” was presented by Dr. Nageswara Rao Poojari and produced by Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi under the banners Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales. The film was directed by Sailu Kompati. It had a grand worldwide theatrical release through Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vasu Works, distributed by Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vasu.
