Renowned producer K.S. Rama Rao is bringing the Kannada superhit film Rakkasapuradol, starring Raj B. Shetty, to the Telugu audience under the title Rakshasapuram The film is produced by K. Ravi Varma under the K.N. Entertainments banner and directed by Ravi Saranga. Presented by K.S. Rama Rao, the movie is being released under the Creative Commercials banner and is gearing up for a grand Telugu release soon.
During a recent event held at FNCC, Hyderabad, producer K.S. Rama Rao shared the highlights of the film.

My career began with a dubbed film. I released the movie Erra Gulabeelu, starring Kamal Haasan, in Telugu, and it became a massive success. Now, after a brief hiatus, I am once again bringing a movie titled Rakshasapuram to the Telugu audience under our Creative Commercials banner.
Director Ravi Saranga has brilliantly crafted this film as a unique crime thriller. It was produced by my friend Ravi Varma. I was personally thrilled after watching this movie. I called producer Ravi Varma and told him that I would release this film in Telugu.
In this film, the hero engages in the ‘annihilation of demons’ (Rakshasa Samharam), which takes place in a specific village; that is why the title Rakshasapuram was chosen. Back in ’86, I produced a film titled Rakshasudu with Chiranjeevi Garu. Some people felt that title was negative at the time, but everything the hero did was for a good cause, and the story was excellent. We chose that title because the hero is a ‘demon’ to the villains. In this Rakshasapuram as well, the hero destroys villains who behave like demons.
As it is a different kind of cinema, it will surely appeal to the current trends. We are going to release this movie by the end of this month. I request you all to support this movie.
