The 24th Santosham South Indian Awards ceremony was held with great prestige, attended by prominent film personalities and cinema lovers.
Directors and legendary producers such as K. Raghavendra Rao, Ashwini Dutt, Muralimohan, Katragadda Prasad, Dr. Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu, Malashree, Babu Mohan, Sivaji, and Sivabalaji were among the attendees.
A special felicitation was held for legendary producer Ashwini Dutt to honor his completion of 50 years since establishing Vyjayanthi Movies. The awards were then presented by director K. Raghavendra Rao.
Dr. Mohan Babu and Manchu Vishnu received awards from the hands of the legendary producer Ashwini Dutt. In a special moment, Manchu’s third generation, Avram, received an award from his grandfather, Dr. Mohan Babu.
The Kota Srinivasa Rao Memorial Award was presented to Babu Mohan. A special felicitation was also held for lyricist Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar, who recently completed 25 years in the industry.
Other notable awardees included Anantha Sriram, Aradhana Ram, Nidhilam Swaminathan (Malashree’s daughter), who all received awards from Muralimohan.
Actors like Ajay Ghosh, Saranya Pradeep, singer Keerthana Sharma, dance master Vijay Polanki, hero Chandrahas, cinematographers Viswas Daniel and Satish Reddy, director Yaduvamshi, Madhupriya, hero Sivaji, dialogue writer Akella Sivaprasad, 7 Hills producer Satish, and “Revu” movie producer Murali Ginjupalli all received awards from Babu Mohan.
In the OTT category, the team behind the series “Ninety’s” (ETV Win), including Hasan and Rohan Roy, along with actress Jordar Sujatha, received awards from Muralimohan and expressed their happiness.
