Ugadi Nandi Awards Ceremony by Telugu Cinema Vedika Graced by Film and Political Dignitaries

Dattatreya and Murali Mohan Felicitate the Team of “23” Film
The Ugadi Nandi Awards, organized annually by the Telugu Cinema Vedika, were celebrated this year with great grandeur. The event was attended by several personalaties including former Haryana Governor and BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, Deputy Speaker Ramachandrulu Naik, senior actor Murali Mohan, actor Prudhvi Raj, hero Aditya Om, noted director S. V. Krishna Reddy, Directors’ Association President V. N. Aditya, Telugu Film Producers Council President Damodar Prasad, producers K. Achhireddy and Vijay Kumar Varma, actor Ramki, Member of Parliament Balaram Naik, Bhadrachalam MLA Tellam Venkata Rao, and fitness expert Anu Prasad. At this the team of the film “23”, which recently received the Gaddar Award, was specially honored with the Ugadi Nandi Award. Additionally, artists and contributors who showcased excellence in films such as Court, Dandora, Bandhi, Adiparvam, and Seetha Payanam Krishna Tho—including Aditya Om, Gemini Suresh, Subhodayam Subbarao, Sanjay Megoti, Raghu, and Roja Bharathi—were felicitated. Individuals from the social sector, including Vijayalakshmi, Cherukuri Prasad Raju, and Nursing Goud, were also honored with the award. Aditya Om, who delivered an outstanding solo performance in the film Bandhi, received special recognition from industry Personalities.
Speaking on the occasion, Bandaru Dattatreya: stated that such events serve as encouragement to the film industry. He expressed happiness that the grandson of his friend and former MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao made his debut through the film “23”. Dattatreya further congratulated all the award winners and said that such recognitions give immense strength to artists. He noted that small film producers often face significant financial challenges, but films with strong storytelling and social relevance continue to receive audience appreciation even without star power. He expressed hope that more such award events would be organized in the future to encourage quality cinema.
Senior actor Murali Mohan praised: Vijay Varma for organizing the event under the banner of Telugu Cinema Vedika and for encouraging small films. He appreciated the natural performances of the lead actors Teja and Tanmayi, as well as the supporting cast of the film “23”. He also commended director Raj Rachakonda and the technical team for showcasing their talent.
During the event, J. V. Mohan Goud was presented with the Cine Achievement Award for his significant contributions to the film industry. The chief guests appreciated Vijay Varma for successfully organizing the grand function.
