Anjali Joins Vishal’s Makutam as Female Lead; Concept Video Sparks Laughter

Actor Vishal is gearing up for his most ambitious next project Makutam, which marks the 99th film under the prestigious Super Good Films banner, produced by RB Choudary. Interestingly, Vishal is also taking on the roles of director and screenplay writer, adding a strong personal creative touch to the film. From the posters and early promotional material released so far, Makutam appears to be a distinctive action entertainer with a fresh narrative approach. Adding to the excitement, it has now been officially confirmed that actress Anjali will star opposite Vishal. The duo, known for their successful collaborations and strong on-screen chemistry, are reuniting once again, raising expectations.

To announce her inclusion, the makers released a quirky and engaging concept video featuring both Vishal and Anjali. The video unfolds like a mock narration session, with Vishal, as the director, approaching Anjali to pitch the story. However, instead of listening quietly, Anjali playfully interrupts him at every turn. When Vishal begins with a typical line like “It’s a beautiful village…,” she humorously cuts him off, saying such details are the production team’s responsibility and urging him to get to the actual story.

As Vishal continues narrating in a rather vague manner, Anjali keeps delivering witty jabs and sarcastic remarks. Eventually, she bluntly questions whether he even has a proper story, leaving Vishal flustered. Unable to handle her sharp counters, he comically walks away, promising to return with a better narration the next day. The video ends on a humorous note, highlighting their natural chemistry and comic timing.

The entertaining concept video has sparked laughter and has quickly gone viral across social media platforms, drawing praise for its creativity and humor.

On the technical front, the music for Makutam is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Richard M Nathan. NB Srikanth serves as the editor, and Durairaj is in charge of art direction.
