Renowned producer Thummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, who has been organizing awards function every year in memory of legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao after his demise, conducted this year’s event as well on the occasion of his 79th birth anniversary. The event, titled “Dasari Legendary Awards,” was held in a grand manner at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad.
Prominent personalities who attended the event as chief guests included actor and former Member of Parliament Murali Mohan, senior actress Roja Ramani, senior hero Suman, noted director Relangi Narasimha Rao, prominent producer Thammareddy Bharadwaja, Directors’ Association President V. N. Aditya, Doordarshan Director Kameshwari, along with Vamsi Ramraju and senior film journalist Prabhu.
During the ceremony, awards were presented to talented individuals who excelled in various fields in Telugu field during 2025–26. Among the award recipients were acclaimed director Boyapati Srinu, senior director P. N. Ramachandra Rao, Mega daughter Sushmita Konidela, Sahu Garapati, popular actress Laya, noted director Gunasekhar, actor Shivaji, senior film journalist trio Nagabhairu Subba Rao – Pradeep – Om Prakash Narayana, renowned writer Bharathi Babu, popular choreographer Aata Sandeep, and “Rakasa” director Manasa Sharma, among others!!
