The North America Telugu Society (NATS) is gearing up for its 8th Telugu Celebrations event. These festivities will take place from July 4th to 6th in Tampa, USA. Recently, NATS organized a grand curtain raiser event for the 8th Telugu Celebrations program in Hyderabad. Telugu Celebrations Conference Convener and former Chairman Srinivas Guttikonda and NATS Chairman Prashanth Pinnamaneni, who arrived from the USA, held a press conference during this event. Actresses Jayasudha and Aamani, directors Harish Shankar and Meher Ramesh, music director Thaman, lyricists Ramajogayya Sastry, Chandrabose, Kalyan Chakravarthy, and others attended as chief guests. NATS Chairman Prashanth Pinnamaneni said, “When we think of NATS, two words come to mind: service and language. We established this organization in 2009 to support the Telugu people in America. We have friends and relatives here if we face any trouble, but Telugu people in America have no one. NATS stands by them, giving them courage. NATS supports Telugu people wherever they are. NATS means courage and trust. Our language should reach future generations, they should learn our language. And we should help when they are in trouble. We are continuing NATS with such goals. We are happy to organize the 8th Telugu Celebrations program of our organization. Many Telugu poets, artists, actors, and other prominent people are going to attend this program. Our members are working in committees of 300 people for this event. We estimate that 10,000 people will participate in the Telugu Celebrations program. We are planning how our NATS organization should move forward with more service activities in the next 15 years.”
Conference Convener Srinivas Guttikonda said, “Greetings to all the guests who came to our program today. The Telugu language is very great, and we are trying through NATS to protect such a language and pass on our culture and traditions to future generations. We are receiving praise from everyone for the service activities we are doing. Many such programs will continue in the future. We are going to make the 8th Telugu Celebrations program of our NATS organization unprecedented. We invite you all to participate in this program in large numbers. Let’s celebrate this Telugu Celebrations program like a festival, just like we celebrate Dasara and Diwali.”
Actress Jayasudha said, “NATS is not just about celebrations, it is a service-oriented organization. NATS invited me to the past Telugu Celebrations as well. However, I couldn’t go because my mother passed away. I will definitely go this time. Recently, I acted in an English movie. The shooting of that movie took place near the place where the NATS Telugu Celebrations are happening now. I wish the NATS event success.”
Music Director Thaman said, “I participated in the past NATS Telugu Celebrations event. Now, I am going to do a concert for them for the second time. Along with me, Devi Sri Prasad will also participate in the concert. Along with the musical program, we are going to play a cricket tournament on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. NATS 11 teams and our team are competing. Akhil, Sudheer Babu, and our entire team are getting ready for the match. I am associated with NATS because of Prashanth garu and Srinivas garu. They respect us a lot. This time, the event should be even better.”
Director Harish Shankar said, “Prashanth garu and Srinivas garu are good friends of mine. As soon as they called, I said I would come to the NATS event. Their service to the Telugu language and our culture and traditions is amazing. They are standing as a support to Telugu people wherever they are. Such an organization should go far and support Telugu people even more.”
Director Meher Ramesh said, “The NATS organization logo itself has language and service. It is a great organization. This organization did many service activities during Covid. I am happy to come to their event.”
Lyricist Chandrabose said, “Thanks to NATS for not only protecting the Telugu language but also ensuring it reaches future generations. I am participating in the NATS Telugu Celebrations program. I am doing a program with Ramajogayya garu.”
Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry said, “NATS is doing great programs for Telugu people and the Telugu language. I am giving them my compliments. I am happy to participate in the NATS Telugu Celebrations program.”
Actress Aamani said, “I felt very happy when I was invited to participate in the NATS Telugu Celebrations program. I said I would definitely come. An organization like NATS, which is purposeful, should provide services more extensively.”
