Uber India has released its annual data report, “How India Ubered”. In this report, the cab-hailing service revealed that Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Hyderabad were the top cities for Uber trips in 2024.
The report shows that Indians travelled over 9.2 billion kilometres using the platform in 2024, with Kochi leading in rider ratings with an average of 4.9 out of 5. Meanwhile, Uber Auto emerged as the most popular product, slightly ahead of Uber Go. Mumbai recorded the most late-night and weekend trips, while Bangalore had the highest number of office-hour trips.

The morning hours between 5 AM and 6 AM saw the highest number of Uber Reserve trips being booked to airports, with riders across the country not wanting to risk missing their first alarm.
