B Sreedhar Varma has assumed charge as the new Chairman of Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC), the devotional channel of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). He formally took charge at the SVBC office near Alipiri in Tirupati.

Before assuming his responsibilities, B Sreedhar Varma received the blessings at the Sri Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala and later arrived in Tirupati to take charge as SVBC Chairman.

Speaking on the occasion, B Sreedhar expressed his happiness at being given the opportunity to serve as SVBC Chairman. He said SVBC plays a key role in taking the glory of Lord Sri Venkateswara and the message of Hindu Dharma to devotees across the world. He assured that he would work in coordination with all employees and strive to further strengthen the channel.

Sreedhar expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Sri Nara Lokesh, Deputy Chief Minister Sri Pawan Kalyan, and Endowments Minister Sri Anam Ramanarayana Reddy for giving him the opportunity to serve as SVBC Chairman.

Nandamuri Mohana Krishna congratulated B Sreedhar Varma on being appointed SVBC Chairman and described him as a brother-like figure.

Recalling the long-standing association between the Nandamuri family and B Sreedhar Varma’s family, he said that although they were not related by blood, the bond of affection and respect between the families was like that of brothers.

He recalled that NTR Raju had been offered an early party ticket by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao but chose not to contest, instead dedicating himself to the service of Lord Venkateswara and TTD. He also recalled Raju’s contribution to the development of TTD, including his voluntary donation of land.

Director Buchi Babu Sana, who gained Pan-India acclaim with the movie Peddi, has officially launched the high-energy first lyrical song, “Chinduveyave Chanduka Tukada,” from the upcoming film Jayaho Janardhana.
The song features lyrics penned by National Award-winning lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja. High-octane male vocals are provided by Jangi Reddy—famous for the blockbuster track “Aaya Sher” in Nani’s Paradise—while Mohana Bhogaraju lends her voice to the female vocals. దశాబ్దాల నటనా సేవకు ఎన్నో పురస్కారాలు ఆమెను వరించాయి. తమిళనాడు ప్రభుత్వ కలైమామణి, తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్ర ఉత్తమ నటి పురస్కారం, నంది అవార్డులు, జీవిత సాఫల్య పురస్కారాలతో పాటు 2022లో భారత ప్రభుత్వం పద్మశ్రీతో సత్కరించింది. 91వ ఏట పద్మశ్రీ రావడం తనకు ఎంతో గర్వకారణమని అప్పట్లో ఆమె పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఆమె కెరీర్‌లో ఒక ప్రత్యేకత ఉంది. ఒకే తరానికి చెందిన నటిగా మిగిలిపోలేదు. ఎన్టీఆర్, ఏఎన్నార్ కాలంలో హీరోయిన్‌గా మెరిసి… తర్వాతి తరాల హీరోలతో తల్లి, బామ్మ, ఇతర కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించి… కొత్త తరంతోనూ తెరను పంచుకున్నారు.
