I wish for the grand success of Ghantasala The Great: Director–Producer Aditya Hasan at the Teaser Launch Event

No matter how much we speak about the legacy of Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao (Ghantasala), it will never be enough. Based on his life story, Ghantasala The Great has been produced by Smt. C.H. Phani under the banner Anyukth Ram Pictures, with story, screenplay, and direction by C.H. Rama Rao. In this film, Krishna Chaitanya plays Ghantasala, Mridula portrays Savitramma, and Atulitha (of Tulasi movie fame) will appear as young Ghantasala, while Suman will be seen in a key role. The film is slated for release on December 12. As part of the promotions, the teaser was launched on Saturday by chief guest Aditya Hasan.

Aditya Hasan said: “I first got the opportunity to work in the industry with Balaji garu and Rama Rao garu through my friend Ashok. I worked with Rama Rao garu for just twelve days — he was the one who gave me my first remuneration. Later, I went abroad, and after returning I gradually grew into an independent director.

Ghantasala’s script is deeply emotional. Everyone must watch this film. I truly wish this movie achieves great success. My best wishes to the entire cast. Please watch and support the film releasing on December 12.”

Hero Krishna Chaitanya said: “I consider it a blessing to play the role of Ghantasala garu in Ghantasala The Great. I grew up listening to his songs, and today I feel fortunate to be part of a film that narrates his life story. The audience will witness his journey through this movie. My thanks to Rama Rao garu for this opportunity. Many who have already watched the film were deeply moved by it.

In Telugu film music, the first name that comes to mind is Ghantasala. Ghantasala garu and Balu garu are like two eyes to music lovers. With their blessings, this film is arriving on December 12. I hope everyone watches and supports it.”

Director Rama Rao said: “I am happy that my student Aditya Hasan attended this event and released the teaser. The moment we mention the word ‘song’, Ghantasala instantly comes to mind. More than his singing, I wanted people to know about his personality — that is why I made this film.

I approached many stars to portray Ghantasala. After seeing Krishna Chaitanya garu in Swarabhishekam, I felt he resembled Ghantasala. Everyone who watched the preview felt emotional. The film is releasing on December 12.

Some people are trying to block this movie from coming out, but I pray to God their efforts fail. No matter what obstacles arise, the film will release on December 12.”

Ramasatya Narayana Raju said: “It takes immense courage to make a biopic. Rama Rao garu has shown that courage through Ghantasala The Great. I watched the film and was extremely moved. The younger generation may not fully know Ghantasala’s greatness. This movie beautifully conveys it. Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao garu appreciated the film and said it would be a great movie like Mahanati. The film arrives on December 12 and is sure to touch the audience’s hearts.”

Shobha Rani said: “I am not worthy of speaking about someone like Ghantasala garu. Everyone knows him as a singer, but he was also a freedom fighter who participated in the Quit India Movement and was even imprisoned. I am happy that Rama Rao garu is bringing such a remarkable life story to the screen. It is our privilege to be a part of this event. Ghantasala garu was a noble personality deserving of every award. The government must certainly support this film. Krishna Chaitanya’s voice also resembles Ghantasala’s. The movie releases on December 12 — everyone should watch it.”

Karri Balaji said: “Ghantasala garu proved that hard work leads to success — the same holds true for Aditya Hasan. As a director and producer, he has reached great heights. Rama Rao garu also worked extremely hard for this film. All the characters feel natural and realistic. The film will be liked by audiences everywhere. Do watch it on December 12.”

“Raju Weds Rambai” is a beautiful love story that touches your heart: Actor Adivi Sesh at the trailer launch

0

Akhil and Tejaswini star as the lead pair in the film Raju Weds Rambai. The movie is being presented to the audience by ETV Win Originals Production. Under the presentation of Dr. Nageshwar Rao Pujari, the film is produced by Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales, with Venu Udugula and Rahul Mopidevi as producers. The film is directed by Saailu Kompati. On November 21, “Raju Weds Rambai” will have a grand theatrical release under the banners of Vamsi Nandipati Entertainments and Bunny Vas Works, headed by Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vas. The trailer launch event was held on Thursday in Hyderabad, with actor Adivi Sesh attending as the chief guest.

Lyricist Mittapalli Surender said, “I thank the audience for making the song Rambai Neemeedha Naaku a big hit. The same song appears as the title track in the movie. I wrote the entire song in one night. I got the opportunity to express the deep emotions of the story through this song.”

Music director Suresh Bobbili said, “Thanks to everyone who made the Rambai title song trend nationwide in the top 2 on social media. Along with this song, several others in the film will also entertain you. Through this movie, we want to convey many things to you. Please come to theatres on the 21st of this month, watch the film, and bless our team.”

Actor Chaitu Jonnalagadda said, “The trailer shows only a small sample of what our film is like. I played the role of Venkanna, the heroine’s father. While watching the film, you will laugh, feel sad, and get emotional. You will definitely hate my character Venkanna and the more you hate it, the happier I feel. Akhil and Tejaswini performed very well. This film will bring them a good name.”

Actor Shivaji Raja said, “This is not a small film. The movie has strong support from ETV Win, Bunny Vas, and Vamsi Nandipati. The song Rambai Neemeedha Naaku became a sensational hit. This movie will also become a big hit by the end of the year. If I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t say it. I’m happy that Sesh has come to support this movie.”

Producer Bunny Vas said, “We often celebrate stories like Romeo and Juliet and Laila Majnu, but this is a story that happened on our own Telugu soil. After watching the film’s climax, I couldn’t sleep for two days. Rambai kept haunting my mind. You will feel the same emotion once you watch it. Contrary to what some think, this story is not about honour killing. What this couple faced is even more brutal. We are bringing this story to the audience so that these buried truths come to light. This movie will stay in our hearts forever.”

Presenter Dr. Nageshwar Rao Pujari said, “Today’s youth give many names to love, but real love is living for each other and being ready even to die for each other. You will see such pure love in our film. The Rambai song became a big hit, and we hope the film gets the same success.”

Producer Rahul Mopidevi said, “We watch many love stories on screen and forget them, but some are based on true incidents. After watching Raju Weds Rambai, you’ll understand how lovers should correct their mistakes and stand by each other through the toughest situations. There is a lot to learn from this movie, and I am confident you will like it.”

Director Venu Udugula said, “The response to the trailer is very good. This is a timeless love story. Some people are deliberately spreading negativity, questioning scenes like the girl being slapped. How can one judge a film based only on a few moments from the trailer? This movie is not made with additions or deletions – it is made with honesty. Breaking barriers of caste, religion, and money, Raju and Rambai will be coming to theatres on the 21st of this month. Those criticizing the trailer will get their answer from the film itself.”

Director Saailu Kampati said, “When I first showed the story to Venu anna, he said it wasn’t in the proper script format. I didn’t know how to format a script, but I knew exactly how to show the emotion, how the beginning, interval, and climax should be, and how the film should be made. That’s how I made it. I thank Venu Udugula anna for giving me this opportunity. Later, ETV joined along with everyone else. The location and shooting conditions were new to all our artists, but they worked hard. Akhil, Tejaswini, Chaitu Jonnalagadda—everyone worked with passion. Suresh Bobbili anna brought life to our film with his music.”

ETV Win’s Sai Krishna said, “Adivi Sesh once tweeted in support of the movie Anaganaga on ETV Win, and the film received great audience appreciation. After that, we brought films like 90’s, Air, and Little Hearts. Now we are bringing Raju Weds Rambai to you. This is a film you will never forget.”

ETV Win’s Nithin said, “This movie has faced many struggles. Each time it faced a challenge, it became better. Wherever there is a good film, Sesh garu always comes forward to support it. Some people are criticising the trailer, saying it’s anti-feminism or pushing some ‘ism.’ This film is not about any ideology – it is about the truth. On the 21st of this month, we are bringing to theatres a love story that was buried for 15 years. You will see a girl who endures everything for love, a father who stands in the way of that love, and a lover who will go to any extent for it.”

Producer Vamsi Nandipati said, “When I decided to make this movie, many people tried to discourage me. The more they pushed me away from this project, the more determined I became. The climax emotionally moved me. If this climax does not shake you, I will stop making films. Just like 7/G Brindavan Colony and Premisthe inspired me to enter filmmaking, you too will feel inspired after watching this film. This is a love story that comes from the grassroots. Thanks to Adivi Sesh, the ‘Indian James Bond,’ for coming to support us.”

Actor Adivi Sesh said, “I watched the trailer and some scenes, and I know the story. I’m here to promote good content. Just like Care of Kancharapalem held silent premieres across multiple places, I suggest you do the same for this film in the coming week. Then, by release time, the audience will come searching for it. This is such a good movie. Akhil, Tejaswini, and Chaituu have acted wonderfully. I’ll even offer a role to Chaitu Jonnalagadda in my film. In this era of social media where people think only about viral content, bringing a pure love story to the audience is not easy. Apps may change, but love never changes. This is a genuinely made, beautiful, heart-touching love story.”

Heroine Tejaswini said, “I began my career with short films in 2019, and it took six years to reach this stage. I feel lucky to play the role of Rambai. I believe you liked our songs and trailer. The emotion in the trailer connecting with you makes us very happy. Many love stories come and go, but Raju Weds Rambai is different. This is a love story that will stay in your hearts.”

Hero Akhil Uddemari said, “I’ve been struggling for 10 years for a chance in films. Many offers came close and slipped away. Getting the role of Raju in Raju Weds Rambai made me forget all that pain. After watching our trailer, some asked why Raju slaps the girl. But just as Raju loves Rambai deeply, I urge you to love the Rambai in your life just as much. Raju is a great lover, and I want to be like Raju in my life too. I’ll never forget Sesh anna coming to support us. Please come to theatres on the 21st to watch the film.”

Cast: Akhil Uddemari, Tejaswini Rao, Shivaji Raja, Chaitu Jonnalagadda, Anita Chowdary, Kavitha Srirangam, and others.

Sai Durgha Tej’s Heartwarming Post With His Mother Becomes One of His Most Touching Moments Yet

0

Sai Durgha Tej’s newest post didn’t feel like a routine update; it read like a devotion-soaked letter from a son who has lived two different lives. Two photographs – one from the innocence of his beginnings, another from the clarity of his second life – carried the kind of quiet depth words can rarely match.

The first photograph takes us back to Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham, the film that introduced him to Telugu Cinéma and earned him the Best Debut Award at the CineMAA Awards. His mother stepping forward to receive that honour on his behalf radiates the unmistakable glow of a beginning. Nothing dramatic, nothing embellished – just a young actor’s first milestone held gently by the person who had stood closest to his journey.

The second photograph, captured at the inaugural Eugenix Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards South 2025, belongs to a completely different chapter. His mother accepting the Most Desirable Star (Male) award on his behalf wasn’t a symbolic gesture for cameras; it was a lived truth shaped by everything he survived. It echoed the accident, the long recovery, and the resilience that rebuilt him. His line, “My first award in my second life is taken by AMMA,” reads with the clarity of someone who has returned from the edge. And the follow-up “Ye janmalo punyam chesukunano telidhu… neeku kodukuga puttanu Amma” carries the kind of honesty that doesn’t need elaboration.

Together, the two images close a circle – a beginning and a rebirth, both anchored by the same steady presence.

On the work front, Sai Durgha Tej is entering one of his strongest phases. After delivering the 100-crore blockbuster Virupaksha, he now moves towards his upcoming project, the massive 125-crore Pan-India action drama SYG: Samabrala Yeti Gattu. With its scale and the rising industry buzz, SYG stands as one of the most anticipated films ahead, with Tej firmly at the centre of expectation.

Titled ‘Koragajja’, the film is produced by Thrivikram Sapalya under Thrivikrama Cinemas and Success Films banners, and is directed by Sudheer Attavar, a Sahitya Akademi Award winner.

Music for the film is composed by Gopi Sundar. Freshly, a grand audio launch was held in Mangaluru, drawing huge crowds. The event stood out for its vibrant atmosphere, with the cast appearing in diverse looks and the entire theme designed around Koragajja.
