A heartfelt social media appeal has now transformed into meaningful action. Within hours of publicly responding to concerns raised about the condition of legendary filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao’s samadhi, ‘RawKing’ Manoj Manchu personally visited the site and initiated cleaning efforts, reaffirming his respect for one of the most influential figures in the history of Telugu Cinéma. The gesture has drawn appreciation from film lovers and admirers of Dasari garu, whose contributions continue to inspire generations of filmmakers, actors, writers, and technicians.

The initiative began after journalist and anchor Gautami shared a video highlighting the neglected condition of Dasari Narayana Rao garu’s samadhi and expressed her disappointment at seeing the memorial in such a state. Deeply moved by the visuals, Manoj responded publicly on social media on Friday night, writing, “It genuinely felt very painful seeing the condition. Dasari Narayana Rao garu inspired generations and contributed immensely to Telugu cinema. Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s attention. I promise this is the least I can contribute from my end.”

True to his word, Manoj arrived at the memorial by 7:00 AM the very next morning along with members of his team before heading to a scheduled film shoot. Speaking during the visit, he revealed that it had been three to four years since he last visited the samadhi. “I came across the video you posted and felt very bad seeing this. It’s been three or four years since I visited. While crossing Chitrapuri Colony, I saw his statue and remembered the samadhi. Your video and my team showing it to me affected me deeply. I was unable to take it. That’s why I made it a priority and came here before heading to my shoot,” he said.

Manoj and his team then undertook a thorough cleaning of the entire ghat area, clearing dried leaves and accumulated debris around the memorial premises. The effort was carried out with the intention of restoring cleanliness, dignity, and respect to a place associated with one of Telugu cinema’s greatest visionaries.

The visit also reflects the larger spirit behind AIKYA DHAIRYA SENA SAMITHI, the social service movement recently launched by Manoj and Mounika Bhuma Manchu with the motto Unity, Courage, Service, Impact. In recent weeks, Manoj has increasingly translated public concerns into direct action, whether through blood donation drives, humanitarian outreach, or support for people in need. His recent visit to MatruDevobhava Anadha Ashramam, where he personally helped rehabilitate and restore dignity to an abandoned and mentally distressed man named Santhosh, also drew widespread appreciation for its compassion and sincerity.

Through AIKYA DHAIRYA SENA SAMITHI, Manoj has repeatedly stated that he wants to create a platform that serves as a voice for the voiceless and encourages collective social responsibility. Suspense and crime thrillers are gaining strong momentum today, and young filmmakers are stepping forward with fresh, daring concepts to keep audiences hooked. Joining this wave is Sanjay RRao, son of star comedian Brahmaji, who plays the lead in an intriguing new thriller titled Hit & Run. The film is written and directed by Sai Krishna Sagar and produced by Satish Reddy Allam and K. Shekar under the Satish Reddy Allam Entertainment banner, with Natasha Singh as the female lead.

Marking Sanjay RRao’s birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s first-look poster. The design carries a dark, gritty mood dominated by deep red and black tones. Sanjay’s face emerges from heavy shadows, marked by wounds and dried blood, hinting at a character who has endured violence and emotional turmoil. The smoky, textured red background further amplifies the tension, promising a story filled with danger, intensity, and raw emotion.

The cast also includes Kireeti, Muralidhar Goud, Lirisha Kunapareddy, Ravi Prakash, and Jabardasth Emmanuel in key roles, with the shoot currently underway.

On the technical front, music is composed by Prince Henry. Cinematography is handled by Vijay Bhaskar Saddala and L. Gangadhar, while editing responsibilities are taken up by D. Venkata Prabhu.

The name “Subhash K. Raj” is something we are definitely going to hear a lot more in the coming years!
I just walked out of Prasad’s IMAX after watching the Tamil dubbed film Blast Zone… and honestly, I never expected the movie to be this good!
The film is on another level altogether. I absolutely loved it!
What’s even more surprising is that this marks the directorial debut of Subhash K. Raj.
Whether he ends up as a “one-film wonder” or not is something only time will tell… but if he continues with this kind of storytelling and execution, his name will surely echo loudly in the industry in the years ahead.
I had actually attended the pre-release event of Blast Zone at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad. That was the first time I saw this young filmmaker in person. My first thought was, “He looks so young!”
During the event, Action King Arjun said something very interesting about him. He mentioned that the proverb “Small bird, mighty voice” perfectly suits this boy.
After watching the film today, I couldn’t help but feel that Arjun was 100% right.
Especially for action lovers, Blast Zone feels like a complete feast!
Action King Arjun, Abhirami, and Preeti Mukundan — all three delivered terrific performances and elevated the film brilliantly.
