Suriya’s much-awaited family drama Vishwanath & Sons is officially set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 14th. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Venky Atluri and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi & Sai Soujanya, the film is expected to offer audiences a wholesome entertainer packed with emotions, humour and heartwarming family moments.

Recently, at movie events and other public platforms, several filmmakers in the film industry have been speaking about the problems and struggles they are facing. Reacting to such repeated comments from a section of Tollywood, director-producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy shared his views through a social media post.
He stated that cinema is a beautiful medium and should not be reduced to a stage for expressing grievances. He pointed out that in any field, people enter with a clear understanding of the risks, pressures, profits, and losses involved, and the film industry is no different. He also said that every genuinely good film will certainly receive audience appreciation.
Responding to the issue, Madhura Sreedhar Reddy said:
“In business, risks, pressures, and losses are natural. People step into any field after understanding these realities beforehand, and cinema is no exception. If you truly feel the conditions are unfavorable, then stop making films and move out of the industry. But coming before the microphone every single time and crying about ‘problems… problems…’ only damages the reputation of the industry.
It is being projected as though this is a global crisis or the biggest issue facing India. Cinema is a business, not a charity. Make films sincerely. If it works, continue. If it doesn’t, step out and do some other business.
If you incur losses in one film and still have the strength to withstand them, make another film. Otherwise, stop. Don’t dump your personal issues, company problems, or financial struggles onto the film project itself.
Cinema is a wonderful medium. Don’t turn it into a platform for suffering and complaints. Make films with sincerity, and every good film will definitely earn a respectable place among the audience.”

Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni has earned a successful reputation by presenting content-driven films to audiences. Under his banner Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment, he is now bringing a children’s film titled “Summer Holidays” to audiences soon. Directed by Srikar, the film is crafted with a beautiful story that brings back nostalgic childhood memories. Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “Thanks to Dil Raju garu for launching our teaser. Aravind garu was the reason I entered the industry. I worked with him on my last four films, and now I’m producing a solo project. His blessings will always be with me. I heard this story last December and started shooting in February. We wanted to release it in summer, but due to improvements and unforeseen reasons, the release got delayed. Even though the release is postponed, I’m proud that we’re bringing a superb film. Some people discouraged me, saying no one watches children’s films anymore. But I remember enjoying films like Little Soldiers as a child. I strongly believe that if at least one film in this genre releases every year, children and families will definitely come to theatres and enjoy it. My entire team worked very hard for this movie. Thankfully, we found three talented child performers perfectly suited for the story. I’d also like to thank their parents. Thanks to Jayasudha garu, who plays the grandmother’s role, and to Vasuki, Harshavardhan, Rajeev Kanakala, and Harshini for their key performances. If this film succeeds, more producers will come forward to make films in this genre. My friend Giri agreed to produce this film the moment he heard the story because of his trust in me. Recently, major producers met Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan garu regarding industry issues. Just like big producers, small producers also face many challenges. When the opportunity arises, we too will meet Pawan Kalyan garu and explain our concerns. Sandhya Tiruveedhula is producing the upcoming film “Sandigdham” under the banner of Thirdha Creations, with Pardasaradhi Kommoju directing it. Nihal, Priya Deshapag, Arjun CH, and Kajal Tiwari play the lead roles, while Thera Chepa fame Naveenraj Sankarapu appears as the antagonist. The film is set for release on May 29th. The teaser, songs, and trailer released earlier have already impressed everyone. As part of the “Celebrity Punathanma Challenge,”‘RawKing’ Manoj Manchu visited MatruDevobhava Anadha Ashramam and personally helped rehabilitate Santhosh, an orphaned and mentally unstable man. What began as a quiet visit to the ashram soon turned into an emotional interaction that has now begun resonating widely across social media for its humanity, compassion, and emotional honesty.
During the visit, Manoj personally helped Santhosh with a complete makeover, arranging a haircut, shave, fresh clothes, and grooming assistance. The visible transformation of Santhosh within a short span of time became one of the most moving moments of the interaction. Looking at him after the makeover, Manoj smiled warmly and said, “Santosh bhai, aap hero jaisa ban gaya, Santosh bhai.” He further asked him whether he liked his new shirt and affectionately encouraged him to smile.
Speaking during the interaction, Manoj revealed that MatruDevobhava Anadha Ashramam organiser Giri had first reached out to him nearly two months ago through Instagram and social media platforms. Though occupied with film shoots, announcements, and professional commitments at the time, Manoj said the request stayed with him until he eventually reached out again and decided to personally visit the ashram.
Speaking emotionally about the condition of mentally distressed homeless individuals, Manoj said that while orphanages and old-age homes at least receive occasional support and visibility, people wandering on roads in unstable mental conditions are often ignored entirely because of their appearance and behaviour.
“Even today, many are treated like untouchables. We are living in 2026. We have solutions, doctors, knowledge and resources. But still, people walk away from them as though they don’t exist,” Manoj said.
He further added:
“The people who silently walk away after witnessing suffering are the ones truly failing humanity. Within just thirty minutes, you can see how a person slowly regains dignity and acceptance again. I truly hope Santhosh reunites with his family one day.”
Deeply affected by what he witnessed at the ashram, Manoj also spoke about wanting to think beyond temporary gestures and move toward long-term rehabilitation systems.
The actor revealed that alongside the sports rehabilitation centre he is already planning, he is now also considering developing an inclusive rehabilitation and care facility for mentally challenged and psychologically distressed individuals as well. Stressing the importance of medical support, Manoj said the Telugu community already has many capable doctors and physicians who can contribute meaningfully if more people and organisations come forward collectively.
Manoj also assured Giri that AIKYA DHAIRYA SENA SAMITHI would continue extending support to the ashram and its humanitarian efforts in the future.
Visibly moved after seeing residents eating meals under trees due to lack of proper facilities, Manoj immediately promised to arrange tables and chairs for the ashram at the earliest.
Organiser Giri emotionally thanked Manoj for personally visiting the ashram and standing by his word despite public speculation over whether he would be able to come.
He revealed that Santhosh had been wandering around Chaderghat for nearly two years before eventually reaching the ashram and added that there was a time when he would not even respond properly when food was offered to him.
“If we dedicate even thirty minutes with patience and humanity, a person can slowly return to dignity again. Today society may begin looking at him differently,” Giri said emotionally.
Giri further explained that the ashram is currently focused on rehabilitating abandoned men but hopes to eventually expand support systems for women as well. He also requested Manoj’s assistance in arranging psychiatric support for residents, explaining that transporting mentally distressed individuals for treatment has remained one of the organisation’s biggest challenges.
Calling Manoj the first film actor to personally visit and spend time at the ashram in this manner, Giri thanked the actor and his family for extending support, compassion, and visibility toward people who are otherwise forgotten by society.
On the professional front, ‘RawKing’ Manoj Manchu is currently balancing both cinema and social outreach simultaneously. While the large-scale action film David Reddy is progressing rapidly with nearly 40% of the shoot completed, Rakshak is gearing up for its grand launch. Alongside this, Manoj is also working on Mohana Raga, while continuing to focus on his physical transformation and upcoming slate of projects currently in different stages of production and development.
