In a glamorous celebration marking a new chapter in cinematic luxury, the Owners Connplex Cinemas Luxury Theatre was launched today amidst much fanfare and high-profile guests. The unveiling event showcased not just a premium movie‑watching space, but a vision for how film exhibition can be elevated in Telangana. Key figures from politics, film, and business graced the occasion, lending both gravitas and excitement to the inauguration.

Connplex Cinemas has made a name for itself as a chain focused on delivering smart cinemas, combining advanced audiovisual technology, plush amenities, and accessible reach. This new luxury theatre under the “Owners Connplex” branding is positioned to uplift the cinema‑going experience in the region, integrating:

Vignan Yarlagadda, Harsha Kothapalli, and Sujith Reddy Goli represent the ownership and driving force behind the project. Gaddam Prasad Kumar (Telangana Assembly Speaker), Star Boy Siddu Jonnalagadda, Producer S. Radha Krishna (Chinna Babu), Producer Naga Vamsi (Sithara Entertainments), Narendra Kamaraju (M.D. Praneeth Group), etc. graced the inaugural ceremony.

Vignan Yarlagadda said, “We’ve launched our movie theatres under the brand name Connplex Cinemas at Nagarjuna Circle, Road No. 1 & 3, Banjara Hills, inside the MPM Times Square Mall. This is a brand originally from Gujarat, and it currently operates over 250 screens across India. This is our first launch in Hyderabad.

The core idea is to provide audiences with a luxurious home-theatre-style experience, especially for First Day, First Show screenings. We are three young professionals who completed our Master’s degrees in the U.S. and returned to India to introduce this unique concept and deliver a premium cinematic experience to audiences here.

Our facility currently has a total seating capacity of 170 across three screens- Screen 1 with 62 seats, Screen 2 with 72 seats, and Screen 3 with 37 seats capacity. All screens are equipped with Dolby Surround Sound and 2K projection systems.

We aim to launch all major films here on First Day, First Show basis. We hope audiences will support and help make us a success.

The three of us- Vignan Yarlagadda, Harsha Kothapalli, and Sujith Reddy Goli co-founded this project in collaboration with Connplex Cinemas.

At present, we have launched three screens, and we plan to add two more within the next three months as part of our expansion. Our overall target is to launch over 100 screens across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh by the year 2030.

“O.. Cheliya” is an upcoming romantic drama being produced by Rupasri Kopuru under the banners of SRS Movie Creations and Indira Devi Productions. Naga Pranav, Kaveri Karnika, and Aadhya Reddy played the lead roles in the film written and directed by M. Naga Rajasekhar Reddy. Earlier, Rocking Star Manchu Manoj unveiled the film’s first single which garnered superb response.

Today, family star Srikanth launched the teaser of the movie. “I am very happy and honored to be a part of this event and to launch the teaser for the film, “O.. The film is a triangle love story with an interesting plot that includes a spiritual angle, which makes the subject very intriguing. I’ve had a chance to see the teaser, and it’s looking great. In addition to presenting an earnest triangular love story, the teaser also hints at the film’s darker and more intense conflict. Ajay Ghosh appears in a striking and unsettling role as a self-styled godman, who engages in illicit activities under the guise of spirituality. He is seen manipulating and exploiting vulnerable women who seek refuge in his ashram. However, the teaser suggests that there’s much more beneath the surface, layers of secrets, deception, and unexpected twists that add depth and intrigue to the narrative.

The cinematography is by Suresh Bala and music by MM Kumar rightly complement the narrative. The editing is handled by Upendra. The teaser has certainly generated enthusiasm for the movie getting ready for release.

A memorial service for legendary Indian singer Zubeen Garg, who tragically lost his life while scuba diving in Singapore, was held in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Actress Bhairavi Ardya Deka paid rich tributes to the celebrated artist on the occasion.

Zubeen Garg, who captivated millions of fans by rendering over 38,000 songs in more than 40 languages, was remembered as an extraordinary talent. Expressing her grief, Bhairavi said—

“The Indian film industry has lost a true legend. This is an irreparable loss for music lovers. Zubeen was not only one of the finest singers of our time but also a great humanitarian who extended immense support to the underprivileged. In Assam, people revered him like a divine figure,” she said.

She also expressed gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for allocating land to establish a memorial trust in Zubeen Garg’s name, ensuring that his legacy lives on for future generations.

Apart from his phenomenal singing career, Zubeen Garg made his mark as a music composer, producer, director, and actor, contributing immensely to Indian cinema.

In Telugu films too, he left a memorable impact by singing popular songs such as “Yele Yele” from Nithiin’s Takkari, “O Bachelor” from Victory, and “Gunde Godarila” from Ram Pothineni’s Maska. These opportunities were given to him by the late music director Chakri.

Recently, on September 19, Zubeen had traveled to Singapore to attend the Northeast Festival. While scuba diving, he met with a tragic accident. Though he was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, he succumbed while undergoing treatment. His sudden demise has plunged the Indian film and music industry into deep sorrow.
