‘China Piece’ Becomes ‘Secret Soldier’ – Nihal Kodhaty, Surya Srinivas and Akki Viswanadha Reddy’s Spy Drama Completes Censor Formalities, Set for a Grand September Release
The upcoming spy drama starring Nihal Kodhaty and Surya Srinivas, directed by Akki Viswanadha Reddy, has officially been retitled Secret Soldier. Previously introduced under the title China Piece, the film is produced under the Moon Light Dreams banner and features Kamal Kamaraju, Raghu Babu, Rangasthalam Mahesh, Srinivas Vadlamani, and Srikanth Iyengar in pivotal roles.
The film has already generated strong buzz with its promotional campaign. Its teaser, packed with a fresh concept, slick presentation, high-octane action, thrilling moments, and entertaining humor, has significantly raised expectations among audiences.
Originally unveiled as China Piece, the makers have now retitled the film as Secret Soldier. The film has successfully completed its censor formalities and has been awarded a U/A 16+ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Secret Soldier is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release in September 2026.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Suresh Ragutu, while veteran editor Marthand K. Venkatesh has taken charge of the editing.
