The teaser of the upcoming horror thriller ‘Dhatri’ was unveiled by veteran filmmaker S.V. Krishna Reddy, who extended his heartfelt wishes to the film’s team. Impressed by the teaser’s intriguing concept and striking visuals, he expressed confidence that the film would entertain audiences and wished the entire team grand success.
Produced under the Sanjana Films banner, ‘Dhatri’ is written and directed by Giri Payyavula, who is also producing the film. Sai Charan is presenting the project. The film stars Lucky Venkat, Shravani, Adhya Sharma, Giri Payyavula, and Jabardasth Jeevan in pivotal roles.
The film revolves around an orphaned girl who is raised by a group of Aghoras in the sacred city of Kashi (Varanasi). She grows up to become Dhatri, a fearless woman destined to confront evil. When a village falls prey to the atrocities of powerful anti-social forces, Dhatri rises to protect its people. How she battles these dark forces and saves the village forms the crux of this gripping horror thriller.

The film has been extensively shot across picturesque locations including Kashi (Varanasi), Bapatla, Hyderabad, and Komuravelli.
