Jaguar unveils new logo ahead of electric relaunch
Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar has unveiled a new logo and branding ahead of its relaunch as an electric-only brand.
The British vehicle maker, owned by Tata Motors, will launch three new electric cars in 2026, having taken new cars off sale more than a year ago to focus on reinventing the brand.
As part of its rebrand, Jaguar revealed a brand new logo on Tuesday, alongside a new prancing “leaper” cat design and marketing slogans such as “delete ordinary”.
The new bespoke logo, written as JaGUar, has “seamlessly blended upper and lower case characters in visual harmony”, the company said.
India’s successful test of hypersonic missile puts it among elite group
India has successfully tested a domestically developed long-range hypersonic missile, it said on Sunday, attaining a key milestone in military development that puts it in a small group of nations possessing the advanced technology.
The global push for hypersonic weapons figures in the efforts of some countries, such as India, which is striving to develop advanced long-range missiles, along with China, Russia and the United States.
The Indian missile, developed by the state-run Defence Research and Development Organisation and industry partners, is designed to carry payloads for ranges exceeding 1,500km (930 miles) for the armed forces, the government said in a statement.
“The flight data … confirmed the successful terminal manoeuvres and impact with high degree of accuracy,” it added.
The test-firing took place from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam island off the eastern coast of Odisha state on Saturday.

Don Bradman hat for auction
The hat of cricket icon Sir Don Bradman has been listed for auction and its expected to fetch an eye-watering $300,000 – $400,000.
The ‘Baggy Green’ will be sold on December 3 at 6pm.
