“From now on, whenever someone celebrates a ‘Shashtipoorthi’, the song ‘Veyi Venuvula Naadam Mogey’ will definitely be played.”
– Pavan Prabha, director of ‘Shashtipoorthi’

So far, the ‘Shashtipoorthi’ team has released three romantic songs. Now, justifying the film’s title, they have released a thematic song that reflects the essence of Shashtipoorthi. This song was launched by noted director Nag Ashwin, who conveyed his best wishes to the team.

Starring Dr. Rajendra Prasad and Archana, with Rupeysh and Aakanksha Singh as the lead pair, the film ‘Shashtipoorthi’ is directed by Pavan Prabha and produced by Rupesh under the MAA AAIE Productions banner. It is slated for release on the 30th of this month.

The newly released thematic song was penned by Chaitanya Prasad, sung by Karthik and Vibhavari Apte Joshi, and choreographed by Swarna master.

Talking about the song, director Pavan Prabha said:

“Veyi Venuvula Naadam Mogey Haayi Haayi Hridayana! Prema Mantramula Gaanam Saage Ee Muhurta Samayana! Saradale Sarigamalai Palikina ShubhaveLa… Aravai Lo Iravailaa Virisina Varamala…”
This song, so beautifully written by Chaitanya Prasad, will now be a must-play at any Shashtipoorthi celebration. What more can one say about the music of maestro Ilaiyaraaja? I was overwhelmed watching the song being recorded live.
Veteran art director Thota Tharani exquisitely recreated a traditional manduva logili (a courtyard house) for this song. Watching this song gives you the same emotional high as being at a real wedding. Rajendra Prasad, Archana, our leads Rupeysh and Aakanksha Singh have truly brought life to it. Kajal Aggarwal as Mandodari in “Ramayana”

Kajal Aggarwal, who once shone brightly in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema, is currently taking on roles of lesser significance. While this might be a bit disappointing for her fans, she’s adhering to the adage “out of sight, out of mind” and accepting offers as they come.

After a very small role in Salman Khan’s film “Sikandar,” Kajal is now set to portray Mandodari in “Ramayana.” In this film, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ranbir Kapoor plays Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi plays Sita, and Yash from “K.G.F.” fame plays Ravana. Kajal will be seen as the devoted wife of Dashakantha (Ravana).
This epic is being made in two parts, with Part 1 expected to release in 2026.
